Terms of Service

1. What QuePase is

QuePase is a technology platform that connects event organizers with attendees, enabling ticket sales and access control. QuePase acts as a technology intermediary; the party responsible for each event (date, venue, execution, and terms) is the organizer who publishes it.

2. User account

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your account confidential and for activity carried out with it.
• You must be of legal age, or have authorization from a legal guardian, to make a purchase.

3. Buying tickets

• Prices are shown in each event's listed currency and include the service fee where applicable.
• A purchase is confirmed once payment is approved by the payment gateway. You'll receive your ticket with a dynamic QR code.
• The QR code is personal and rotates periodically for security. Don't share it with strangers: whoever presents it first may be let in.
• Tickets may be subject to quotas, pricing tiers, promotions (e.g. 2-for-1 deals), and discount codes, as set by the organizer.

4. Points, referrals, and promotions

QuePase may offer loyalty programs (earning and redeeming points), referrals, and giveaways. Points are not money, are not transferable or redeemable for cash, and their redemption value is set by QuePase. Promotions are governed by their own specific terms and may be changed or ended at any time.

5. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

• Canceling or rescheduling an event is the organizer's responsibility, and the organizer sets the refund process.
• When a refund applies, it will be issued to the original payment method, and non-refundable fees disclosed at the time of purchase may be deducted.
• Depending on the applicable consumer-protection law, the right to a refund or cooling-off period may not apply to tickets for events with a fixed date. Review each event's specific terms.

6. Event access

Entry requires presenting a valid QR code. The organizer may require a form of ID, especially for name-assigned tickets. The organizer reserves the right of admission in accordance with the law and the event’s terms.

7. User conduct

You may not resell tickets outside authorized channels, forge codes, use the Platform for fraudulent purposes, or attempt to breach its security. Violations may result in ticket cancellation and account suspension.

8. Liability

QuePase is not responsible for the quality, safety, or execution of an event, which is the organizer’s responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, QuePase’s liability is limited to the value of the ticket purchased.

9. Personal data

The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and other applicable Colombian regulations, since QuePase is a Colombian company.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll publish the current version along with its update date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the changes.
